What a wonderful new addition to Retford. I have only just started going in here, but I am already finding books that my grandchildren are eager to read. What a breath of fresh air to see them reading rather than on their tablets! The advice I have received regarding the perfect book for the child’s age has been spot on. The books are new releases, so I know that my grandchildren have not yet read them. Let’s keep this shop going. We have lost too many good shops in Retford.

Such a brilliant bookshop and a very knowledgeable bookseller, has a great variety of books for all ages and is beautifully maintained and cared for. A great place to visit and a credit to Retford!

I'm not local to Retford but I took the opportunity to visit the bookshop as I follow them on Twitter and the photos always look very enticing. The place is wonderful (you can't miss the table and chairs on the ceiling!) and the owner is very knowledgeable and she has great advice if you want some advice, as we did. Our son loved the books she recommended when we asked for something a bit more wordy as he seems to be veering in that direction - he's asking for Bunny and Bear almost every evening. I would definitely recommend it, it's more like shops used to be, where there was value in visiting in and of itself.
