The Book Shire Ltd

I recently bought a book through these people from Amazon. The book was listed as hard cover in good condition and cost £24.50. I received a new paperback copy which sells for £8.00. I requested a return and eventually got my money back with difficulty. Wrote a bad review on Amazon. Was contacted by these people and they said would I remove the review and they would send me half the price again which I presumed was as compensation. I removed the review and they said they sent the money. I have confirmed with Amazon nothing extra received. Hence this review. Don't order from them.

Bought Poetry title listed ‘as new’
Came w inscription from poet ‘to Freddie and Marie’ which made book useless as a gift

But when I told Book Shire how disappointed I was they got back to me the same day & offered a 25% refund on the book which I accepted. I had after all got a copy of a rare book of poetry.

My aunt thought the inscription was funny so All Good & thank you Book Shire for resolving the issue satisfactorily.

Bought a second hand book online. The book received was in perfect condition & practically new, & arrived before the scheduled time. Will happily buy again.

I am concerned after that review as I ordered a hard cover book and when the confirmation came through it did not state hard cover . They cannot be contacted - this is terrible service having to waste my time now ensuring they don't send me what I don't want
