The Cobham Bookshop

This shop is an absolute gem! A wonderful diverse, eclectic and fascinating selection of books and some very interesting DVDs are available, as well as a very efficient on-line and telephone ordering service.
I have used the shop for many years and have never failed to be impressed by the knowledgeable and courteous staff.
I cannot recommend it highly enough whether for a casual browse or obtaining an obscure or difficult to obtain title.

In a high street that doesnt have too much variety these days a book shop is always welcome. After browsing on a rainy Saturday afternoon I decided to buy "Stockwins Maritime Miscellany" for a quiet read and addition to my boat library this summer. Always nice to know there is a dedicated bookshop on the high street.

Has a good stock of books but such a shame the woman who works in here is so rude. She snottily looks down on you if you are not a 4 x 4 driving Cobham posho. And if you are, heaven forfend! a scruffy teenager she watches you like a hawk as if you are going to nick something. The Leatherhead bookshop is much nicer but unfortunately doesn't have as much choice otherwise I would shop there more.

A really lovely little bookshop with an excellent selection especially in the children's section. One particular book I was after they didn't have in stock, but they were able to order it for me by the next day with no extra charge. Very friendly and knowledge staff. They even had staff book reviews of their personal favourites. So nice to see an independent bookshop still going strong.

An excellent local independent bookshop. Friendly, helpful and knowledgeable staff. If it's not in stock they are able to order it for you. In these days of Internet shopping it is great to find a local shop with passion for customer service and helping you find the right book!

the perfect village bookshop, with a wide range of books, and helpful recommendations. If it's not in stock they'll get it in quickly. One of my favourite places in town, and a key ingredient in making Cobham a great place to live.

Excellent customer service. Helped me get a pristine book that is no longer in print and sent it to me. Which I received the very next day. I had been looking for this book for over 3months to no avail.
