Picture Book

Fantastic find today. My wife let me loose in Leek whilst she met friends for coffee at the nearby Belfields Bistro (which by the way is also a great place for food).
I popped in for a book browse and found two lovely ladies serving. Both so welcoming, happy to chat books, families, kids, science and everything.
I had a steady wander round both floors and found two canal history books, discussing James Brindley’s links to Leek.
Very knowledgeable and pleasant staff. A great selection of books of all genres with some really nice specialist local books.

What an incredible find! It's a lovely independent bookshop with a great paperback fiction section, the owners are friendly and very helpful, an absolute pleasure to shop there.

It is an absolute joy to walk into this book shop. I ordered a travel book a little while ago, which was there in a couple of days, and I ordered two books on Friday lunchtime, and had a call to say they had arrived, the following afternoon. Also, I was given a very good discount on all three.
The staff are so friendly, and nothing is too much trouble for them. Forget High Street book shops, or that company named after a river in South America, just contact Picture Book!!!

Lovely little book shop with a decent selection of books, cards and other similar things. Very helpful staff who are happy to order books for you, normally with a decent discount! Definitely worth utilising local shops like this because the customer service is quality and the people are brilliant.

Fantastic bookshop. Always try and give this shop my business when I am in the UK. The gentleman who runs/?owns this shop was able to get me an academic book for my son in 2 days that those big chain bookstores were telling me was not available! This is customer service at its best.
