Libreria is a cosy little bookshop off a side street perpendicular to Brick Lane. Whole not on the Main Street, everyone should make the short detour to check the bookshop out. It’s just a minute away!

Like most people, I am struck by the innovative interior and creative use of space. More interestingly, the books are organised by certain themes and ‘feels’ mixing fiction and non-fiction which creates a lovely way of discovering new books!

However, the best thing about Libreria is the friendly staff. Cecilia and Lloyd are knowledgeable and enthusiastic and you can sense their love for reading and their job. They have excellent recommendations and are just lovely people to talk to!

Visiting Libreria is good for the soul. Quite possibly my favourite bookshop in London. I usually leave here (incredibly happy) with at least three more books than I planned on buying, but never regret it. The selection is always amazingly curated, and inspiring. Always someone friendly and welcoming behind the till.

Stunning and cozy little bookshop with a beautifully curated selection of books. The lighting and design creates a captivating atmosphere. The mirror in the back makes it seem bigger than it is.

The staff is very friendly and they have very good recommendations.

If you are in the area I would definitely recommend stopping by!

Memorable book browsing experience! Nestled within a less crowded area of Brick Lane, this bookshop looks spacious at first glance with mirrors at the back, though you’ll find that it’s quite small as you enter.

Upon entering, you’ll be greeted by a friendly bookseller and you’ll find yourself in awe of the titles they have.

There’s a small cozy kids’ corner and some cushioned corners for reading. You’ll also find some designated spaces on the bookshelves that have been curated by popular authors - one of them that stood out to me was Bernadine Evaristo’s curated collection. Great bookshop for moments of tranquility amidst all busyness within the area on a weekend.

I recommend visiting this cosy little bookish spot to unwind after a long stroll through Brick Lane and Spitalfields Market.

Beautiful, quiet and unique bookshop.
No phones allowed or photos. Some books are quite high up on the very tall shelves but nice to look at.

Nice way to spend half an hour if you’re in the Brick Lane area. A beautifully curated selection of books with lit cubbyholes for reading and knowledgable, friendly staff to help you find what you’re looking for.

This is the perfect bookshop as far as I'm concerned. The range of books is small but they have an excellent selection. The staff are so warm and friendly, they are obviously book lovers and are brimming with passion.

My favourite book shop in London. It’s got really special vibes and a wonderful selection of books. Worth going through the ugly streets to visit this place
