Amazing place to have a rummage around in for old books, maps & antiques.

Absolutely brilliant shop for a secondhand book, old map, painting or miscellaneous antiques. One of my favourite shops in Exeter, have bought many a present for those family and friends who are bookworms - signed copies etc. Often pop in on my work lunch to see what’s new (try not to think hard about “new stock” means) as many a treasure to be found. Staff are brilliantly helpful. Takes a bit of digging through the books as so many but it really is worth it.

Lovely shop. Strange atmosphere from the woman cashier who moved some of my bought items to the side and then also had additional comments about me and my friend being foreign?

Great shop. Remarks about us being foreign and condescending attitude to my question about the price of a product made us feel a little unwelcome.

Staff are helpful and the items I have found here have been some of my favourites.
