Better and cheaper than Amazon. Ordered book over the phone. It was put to one side and I picked it up 30 minutes later. It turned out there was 25% off the cover price as well. Brilliant!

Such a lovely shop.if I wouldn't have had my 5year old son with me I could have had stayed for 2hours min.to look at everything. They have the most amazing selection of unique cards.so much choice it's unbelievable and they are just beautiful.
They have lots of toys and books for kids and lovely present ideas from bags to mugs to pillows to aromatherapy. It has a bit of everything .do go in when you're in Christchurch

Wonderful to go into a real bookshop and actually pick up a book.

It's a real shame that Amazon has pretty much destroyed traditional bookshops and it is amazing to see a few, such as Bookends, continue to trade.

Of course, diversity helps, with all sorts if art, art supplies and gifts available.

All it is missing is a cafe - maybe upstairs where the gallery used to be?
