Superb second hand bookshop in the centre of Hay. Loads of nooks and crannies to explore with a great relaxed atmosphere and comfy spaces to sit and read before purchasing.

If it's graphic novels you're after head to the basement for a good selection. Reasonable pricing too.

One of the best bookshops I have ever seen. You will find nearly everything. Prices are more than fair, a well sorted Shop. Students in GB get 10 percent discount. The location is not correct on the map. You will find the Shop in Church street, close to The Swan Hotel.

Large secondhand bookshop in Hay-on-Wye, the town of books, in Breconshire, mid-Wales.

Dropped in to kill time while guest from the US shopping elsewhere in the town. Thought no real interest in books on the cinema/art world but have a look. That was my mistake. It is an old cinema converted into a book shop/wonderland. Emerged with some books I didn't appreciate I needed on the Spanish Civil War. Highly recommended

BEST book shop! The most amazing selection, and the kindest people to help you find the perfect book. We found two gems from early 1900's - really special ones you couldn't find anywhere else, plus the modern hits. Thank you Cinema Bookshop!!

Cinema bookshop the only one you need. Charming helpful staff, fed my dog biscuits. Very reasonable prices. I wish it had a few settees and a coffee machine so I could stay in there longer.

My favourite bookshop in Hay-on-Wye, lots of new and secondhand books at great prices. Very well organised and huge! Definitely recommend for any bookworms
