Bury Bowl

Small but perfectly formed. About half the size of other bowling alleys, but that's not a bad thing. Has a nice bar and the odd arcade machines scattered about the place. The staff were very nice and helpful. My only reason for 4 stars is the A/C in the bar was ice cold, whereas the bowling area was minimal A/C and a bit sweaty. Other than that would recommend.

Can't fault this place for family fun at a reasonable price. The stand out though, is the quality of the food - you just don't expect it to be so good at a venue like this but it's homemade, great value and delicious. Love bringing the kids here for a cheap and cheerful night out and it always surpasses expectations.

This place has gone so down hill, we quite often go on but won’t be anymore. To begin with so many staff and most of them aren’t doing anything and are just chatting. The two guys behind the bar can’t pour a pint to save their lives and didn’t know what Chardonnay was. The food always takes an age and is massively over priced. Overall the majority of the staff stand there talking to one another and this whole place is run poorly

Only criticism, I found the bowling lanes super dark. (Lanes pic was taken before closing, when they turned the lights on). Something in between would work better, not too dark, not too bright.

We came at the weekend for our daughters birthday and wow what a fantastic time the kids all had and us parents enjoyed ourselves too! I wanted to make a special note of Joe who booked us in and was super friendly and chatty. Our daughter had a great birthday party and we will definitely be back in the New Year. As well as bowling, the kids loved the arcades and we enjoyed the coffees and lovely lunch we had too. Thank you Bury Bowl 🥳

Had to wait 20 minutes after my booking time before we could start, a problem as had my Son and his friend which meant late dropping them off home.
But the staff were friendly came and got me when it was time, changed my son’s shoes when he wanted a different size, food was hot nicely presented, will go again but will book an earlier time. Thanks

My son was having his Christmas party with his football team. They had the best time. I was just really disappointed with one member of staff. She wasn't happy that she had to serve us, the bar had started to get busy. She got my drinks order wrong which was fine. I just said I didn't order a tea, she wasn't happy about changing it and slammed my coffee on the bar. Then wanted to charge me again. She wasn't a happy .

It is a great place to go to bowl with family or friends, The staff are always friendly and have smiles on their faces, they have plenty of pool table and arcade games to keep you or your younger people in your group entertained while waiting for a lean.
