Hollywood Bowl Oxford

Had an amazing time here at Hollywood Bowl! Such a great place to meet with friends, we came for a birthday and it was fantastic. One worker in particular, made this experience extra special for us! She was so accommodating and really enhanced our visit :)

Came here for my son's birthday party. Staff were helpful without being overbearing.

We had an hour of bowling with the food at the end. The woman serving us was an absolute delight and swapped one of the dishes for us as the wrong one had been ordered by us by mistake.

Was a fun party and everyone really enjoyed themselves. It was a Monday so very quiet, but I'd come again for another party if one of the kids wants it!

Going to come back for a family bowling session at another time for sure!

I've now visited this Venue twice now and I was not impressed the 1st time due to lack of Staff, dirty and broken toilets and alot of food and drinks were out of stock, the food today was only hotdogs and chips, no warning ahead to say they had no food and hardly any drinks to serve. At £6.99 for a hotdog and pot of chips is disgusting, it's meant to be an American diner but the portions are very small, the hotdogs and chips were cold and for that price I expect better! The bowling is good but the lack of staff and disappointment of food kind of ruined what should of been a great experience. I shall not be using this venue again.

Great experience - came for my son's birthday. He had a blast. If you are coming with a baby, remember to bring ear defenders as it can be loud.

One person serving at the bar on the busy day, where all the bowling lanes are fully booked, spend half an hour in the queue. Also in the games /bowling desk 3 ladies were serving one person while 10 waiting in line. Our bookinng were 30 mins late. In general waste so much of our time..

The two stars is the most I can give this place comfortably.

We arrived 10 minutes prior to our booked slot (16:30 slot, arrived @16:20). We then proceeded to wait a further 5 minutes for the queue to get to the front desk where there where two individuals. Why on earth are there only two staff members available on a bank holiday… talk about bad planning!

The lady had said “it looks like someone is still there and should be finishing shortly”… we then waited an additional 20 minutes and watched as the queue built up out of the door and into the rain outside… Great Planning on the companies part!

Once we’d finally gotten to our lane, it hadn’t been setup properly as I was told on the website, even after entering the lane names and number of players! It seems as though there was some sort of system error, we the. Pressed the “service button”… Didn’t get a response for about another 10 minutes, at this point we’d wasted about 40 minutes or so and got nothing out of it…

Overall, will not be using this place again.

Fantastic place, thank you so much.The bowling alleys was very busy, we booked our space in advance, they kindly gave us the VIP area, for FREE and a few FREE beers at it was a 40th Birthday 🎂for a friend 😀
Nice bar, limted choose of 🍺beers, pool 🎱tables, basketball 🏀, and quite a few arcade machines will keep the kid's happy 😊

The bowling was a lot of fun! Very cute graphics for the scores too! The bar had a wide selection of drinks, including cocktails. The arcade machines were fun too. However the cash machine was broken so it was hard to actually use the machines due to lack of cash!
