Such a wonderful experience, Lucy was so helpful and welcoming. We chose my dress during Covid times and she made the experience pleasurable despite the mask and restrictions, she allowed bridesmaids to join on Facetime as they couldn't be present and allowed us to look through the dresses, thankfully she did as my dress was the only one I hadn't seen online.

I could have asked for a better experience, Lucy was so passionate about her brides and dresses and I honestly felt like a princess in my dress - wish I could wear it every week!

I could not have asked for a more welcoming experience than the one at Brides of Berkhamstead. Lucy was amazing giving me space to pick choices at first and then throughout the appointment listened to what I was saying to then gave the support and advice that was invaluable. Every interaction that I have had with Lucy has been above and beyond and I am so glad that I found my dress here. I would 100% recommend this bridal shop.

I can’t recommend Brides of Berkhamsted enough! As soon as we arrived, Lucy made me feel so welcome and at ease! She was so knowledgeable about the dresses and styles, as well as being warm and friendly, so it was easy for me to find the perfect dress! Can’t wait to go back for my fitting!!

Lucy & her team were just so lovely and welcoming, the whole day was just amazing and I am so glad I went to this store. The dresses they stock are just beautiful I had a hard choice in choosing. I had an amazing time at Brides of Berkhamsted. I absolutely love my dress and can't wait to wear it!

A few friends had recommended Brides of Berkhamsted to me. I emailed to book an appointment for the following week and received a quick response. The appointment was for 1 hour 30mins and my mum came along to give opinions/take photos. There was no charge for booking the appointment.

We had the shop to ourselves (which I think is standard when you book an appointment there) and were offered tea/bucks fizz. The shop was beautifully decorated and had lovely big mirrors and a large sofa. Lucy was absolutely amazing and explained the process of trying on dresses, ordering them in, alterations etc. I visited about 7 months before my wedding.

Lucy helped me change into the dresses and was super helpful with answering questions. She wasn't pushy and I didn't get the impression that she would pressure anyone to choose a dress that they were not completely certain about. She also emphasised not choosing dresses to try that would be too out of my price range, so I thought it was great that she didn't pressure me to try things that would have been too much of a stretch. There was an amazing selection of dresses, I probably tried about 10 on and it was really fun.

Absolutely loved my experience with Brides of Berkhamsted and couldn't recommend them more! Lucy was so lovely, calm yet excited, super chatty and made me feel so comfortable. I had such a lovely experience at BOB. It is local to me and they were so helpful! I ended up going in twice, the second time to convince my mum that the dress was right and they were so patient and understanding. In the end, with some gentle persuasion from Rachel and myself, my mum came around. We celebrated with bubbles and I Can’t wait for the dress to arrive and to go back to the shop to get it on. Couldn’t recommend more!

I cannot recommend Brides of Berko enough! Right from my initial enquiry email they were so helpful and friendly which gave me such a good feeling about them as a company and made me feel so excited for my appointment.

My first appointment was lovely and felt really special. The shop is split into two areas so it felt really private and nice to have your own space. The girls had already selected a couple of dresses based on some images I had sent over but then I was able to go through and select a few more to try. All the dresses are beautiful but the staff were so helpful and made me feel so confident.

They were upfront about the prices too which was great – really reasonable as far as wedding dresses go, and they also had a good sample sale available at even more affordable prices. The girls were really understanding that it's a lot to take in, and how important the decision is, so there was no pressure to purchase on the day which was a breath of fresh air for someone who is a little indecisive like me!

They were so accommodating at fitting me in for a second appointment and were really clear about the whole process in terms of deposits/ordering/payments etc.

All in all they made it such a special experience for me, just as it should be.

If you're wondering whether to book and appointment or not, just do it! I wish I could go back again and again but hopefully I'll only get married once! :)
