Buying a wedding dress is supposed to be special and this is excatly what you get with Martin and his wife. I must have tried nearly every dress on in the shop whilst trying to find out what style suited me, when Martin suggested the one in the window and without hesitation he undressed the window for me to try it - that was the one! I felt quite shy trying dresses on in the previous shops but they made me feel really comfortable and at ease. There were two big points for me 1) no other brides in the shop at the same time 2) I’m a size 16 and didn’t feel like every dress in the shop was a size 10 having to squeeze my bottom in. Exceptional service like no other in the Peterborough area, beautiful selection and a good price range, I recommend this shop to every bride I meet. Thanks again Martin x

From the moment I walked in and saw Martins beautiful dresses and was greeted with a very generous warm welcome by him I knew I was on to finding my dream dress . I didn't have a clue really what I was looking for and Martin showed me a good selection and the second dress I tried on I completely fell in love . Martin made me feel special from the start and each time I looked in the mirror on the dress fittings I was blown away and so excited . I looked no furher I had found my dream dress . Martins calm and professional attributes shone through and is an extremely talented designer who has a great eye for what suits everyone's body shape . Thank you Martin for a wonderful experience and I look forward to showing you the pictures.

Lovely looking my shop with some nice dresses but the experience was my worst. It was the first shop I went to try dresses and felt completely rushed, the man wasn't personable/chatty and didn't make us feel comfortable. I picked out a few styles I wanted to try and he only took a couple of them to the dressing room. He didn't listen to all what I wanted, said I wanted something light as we were having a tipi wedding in a field and he picked out a big heavy satin fess. Not great. When I have shared this review in the past, they screenshotted it and said I had a fake name (which I don't, it is my actual name). Some may have had different experiences with other sales people but I had a very uncomfortable experience which completely put me off.

If I was looking for a wedding dress, Martin Charles Bridal Gallery would be high on my list of boutiques to visit. I can't tell you anything helpful about the dresses, but, knowing Martin, I do know that the experience would be nothing short of amazing. He's one of the most laid-back yet fastidious people I know, and his passion for dresses is always clear to see. If there's a person who I'd want on my side, it's Martin.

I took my wedding dress to Martin for several alterations. The experience was nothing short of fantastic. Martin is very experienced in what he does and his work was faultless. He gave good advice about what would work in terms of the material and style and I am pleased to say that I love my dress. I would definitely recommend this store to other brides.
