I tried on a fair few dresses before I came to this unassuming shop. My first call was probably one of the most friendly and frank, I knew I was speaking to a real person when I booked my appointment (and do, they are stonkingly busy at weekends!). Instead of the purse weighing roundabout waffle you get most places I was clearly asked 'what's your budget, I don't want to have you come down here try on a dress, fall in love with it and it be far too much.' All details covered I awaited the day.

The welcome was warm friendly and recapped our phone conversation. Tracy's first port of call was expectations management, great! Having worked in bespoke tailoring and sold a fair few chaps their wedding suits I know the importance of this. Then the dresses, working with your budget your shown the dresses, I short listed 10 to try (all in the relatively small budget I had available and a few pushing it). The honest feedback and frank discussion took this down to two dresses and finally to one. Where you are made to feel so welcome it's more like going shopping with a mate than a wedding shop owner, this means that you get a dress that will really suit you, not just the most expensive thing that a sale rep can sell you.

Would I recommend it? Heck, I drove all the way down from Watford to get there and would gladly do it again. Great service, lovely people and a super dress.

Now being lucky as I am the dress fitted perfectly and required no alterations, walked out of there with the dress. Had this not happened I would still be ecstatically happy with the service.

Although I live in Portsmouth, a friend who is local to the Petersfield area recommended that I try Twirl Bridal Boutique when looking for my perfect wedding dress. I can’t tell you how glad I am that I took her advice!
Firstly, I rang Tracy (the owner) to book my appointment. She was incredibly helpful on the phone and asked me questions about my big day and my budget to paint a picture of what I wanted.
When I arrived at the shop for my appointment with my mum in tow, Tracy had already lined up dresses on the rail that she thought would be perfect for me. I selected my favourites and the trying on began!
With Tracy’s expert advice, we narrowed it down to two tea dresses. I was also torn between which colour - you can have anything from the prettiest pale pink to emerald green (and of course, Ivory!).
We deliberated over a cup of tea and some French fancies until I made my decision. A final try on of the dress and a check of the colour swatch confirmed it! I had my dream dress ordered and I simply can’t wait to wear it! What’s more, I have made another appointment to choose bridesmaids dresses - its going to be great fun!

One of the first things we did when Catherine booked her wedding was to go shopping for her dress. The moment we walked into Twirl Bridal, we knew we were in good hands. Mary was fantastic, so patient, and had a great selection of the most gorgeous dresses imaginable. Catherine found her favourite and Mary had it altered to fit, and even had a bolero made for us in matching voile so that Catherine would be warm in the evening. Great prices, great selection and great service. What more could we ask for?

The perfect bridal shopping experience. Mary was just fabulous, very friendly, knowledgable and patient; nothing was too much trouble. She carries in stock a gorgeous selection of dresses with a timeless, vintage feel. I must also mention the seamstresses who dealt with the alteration to the dress so professionally and made a superb job.
