Gillian Roberts Bridal | Designer Wedding Dresses & Bridal Gowns

I visited Gillian Roberts Bridal back in November 2021.
The experience was beyond exceptional! Especially comparing to other shops i had visited.
Sharon was a real gem. She took the time to discuss in details the desired look and style priori to my appointment. When I attended, Sharon had carefully picked and prepared some dresses to my preference. They were all absolutely amazing! SPOT ON SHARON!
Not only she picked the perfect dresses but, she made me feel very comfortable and did not rush me at all like other places did. I was able to take photos and videos (not many shops allow you to) and try the dresses as many times as I liked.
I had to go back for a final fitting, however, due to personal circumstances, we had to postpone the wedding all together. Once we have a date, I cannot wait to go back to pick my dress from Gillian Roberts Bridal.

Emma and Hazel we're very friendly accomodating and so professional they made me feel very welcome and comfortable in helping me decide the right dress for me. I was very happy with my dress, and lots of really good comments about it. I feel like a princess on our special day. Once again thank you so much Emma and Hazel for your help, it was truly a first class service from the beginning to end. I highly recommend this bridal shop

10/10- Lovely intimate store, Sharon made me feel so comfortable being my first time trying dresses I had no idea what to expect but it was an amazing experience. She picked a few from what I had wanted/looked at also added a few my mum wanted to see me in aswell as picking some with my bridesmaids. It was actually one Sharon picked that we went for in the end her pick had all of us crying happy tears when we found the "one". Thank you Sharon! Looking forward to the rest of the wedding dress journey with Sharon and the team :)

My experience with Gillian Roberts Bridal & Sewing Rooms is one I certainly will never forget. Sharon, Laura, Hazel & Sau quickly became a family away from home. I cannot recommend GR & Sewing Rooms enough. I never had to ask a single question as they beat me to it every time, along with their knowledge they gave advice, support and lifted my mood each time I visited! I felt like I was with my closest girlfriends. Hazel created my veil and took the time to sit and design it with me, It was everything I ever wanted & more. Having visited a number of bridal shops, I can hand on heart say Gillian Roberts was my favourite and I am so pleased I got my dress from here. I was helped by Laura and Sharon - the dream team! Laura was so knowledgeable with dresses - she listened to what I wanted and subsequently helped me pick the most perfect dress. Sharon was a delight! She offered so much helpful advice and was there supporting me throughout the entire process. Sharon is also very attentive to detail, and she takes so much care with everything from making sure my dress order arrived in time to steaming down the dress ready for my big day. I thoroughly enjoyed the process of getting my dress here, I felt so looked after and both ladies were so lovely and patient. I have recommended Gillian Roberts to all my family and friends who are getting married because I know they'll be in safe hands and will have a great experience here!

I’ve had the most wonderful experience finding my wedding dress at Gillian Roberts bridal. Sharon, Laura and Hazel are really talented and dedicated to their jobs and went above and beyond to make my experience relaxing and special. I’ll always cherish the memory of all the happy tears the moment I put on ‘the one’. It really felt like being amongst friends and never at any point did I feel pressured into making a choice that wasn’t right for me. Sharon especially made me feel so comfortable during the whole process, we shared some good laughs and some emotional hugs at the end! If you’re looking for bridal shop where you’ll get honest opinions and amazing service from staff who genuinely care I would highly recommend Gillian Roberts bridal. I can’t wait to go back and have my fittings now! 🥰

They’re the best, I was so dishearten from all previous shops I had been too and Laura instantly put me at ease !

I found my dream dress and have been smiling ever since, I wore my dress last weekend at my wedding abroad and felt absolutely beautiful!

Every single lady I have encountered has been unreal! I love you all for what you have done for me.

Not to mention Hazel making my beautiful veil, exactly how I wanted it!

AMAZING ! I had the most wonderful experience at Gillian Roberts Bridal with both my sister and my mum present. I had been to a number of shops prior and they were no near as friendly and accommodating. Sharon was SO lovely; very friendly and helpful and made the experience so pleasant, but as my wedding was pushed back 18 months due to COVID, all the staff was amazing ! They kept me updated even though my dress was with The Sewing Rooms for alterations. They have a variety of dresses and allow more than enough time for appointments, which meant I could try on so many until I found 'the one' and when I did it was the most amazing feeling and Sharon's reaction was so memorable!
I absolutely loved my dress and received so many compliments on my wedding day. I'm not ready to put it away!
I can't recommend Gillian Roberts Bridal enough. Thank you so for everything ! x
