Allum & Sidaway Bridal

I had a wonderful time with Philippa at Allum and Sidaway Bridal. She made me feel so at ease trying on different styles to try and find the right dress and made the whole experience such a laugh for me and my Mum. I had gone in there with absolutely no idea what I wanted but Philippa encouraged me to try if different looks so I was able to find the style that worked for me. She was also really helpful with hair accessories and jewellery that I hadn’t even thought about yet. Would highly recommend a visit to Alum and Sidaway bridal!...I live in Derbyshire so was back to visit the family but would be worth the visit just for the shop. Thank you so much Philippa

Allum and sidaway was my first bridal experience and we were all blown away by Philippa's friendly nature and expertise. From the moment we walked through the door, she greeted us with a warm welcome and offered us all prosecco. The environment is beautiful and comfortable and we all felt at ease straight away. I would strongly reccomend taking a visit.

I cannot recommend a better place for an amazing experience... It was my first place to try on dresses and my nerves couldn't have been settled quicker. The lovely Philippa welcomed us all in and made us feel comfortable and relaxed within the first few minutes. There was such a variety of dresses to choose from.
I have chosen my dress with Allum and Sidaway bridal and I am over the moon with my decision. Even going to different bridal stores to check I had the one, I couldn't stop comparing the wonderful service I had received in the morning to the different bridal stores let alone the dresses. I definitely knew that Allum & Sidaway was the place I wanted to purchase my dress from.

Trying on dresses at Allum & Sidaway Bridal was amazing! Philippa was so incredibly helpful and made me feel completely at ease. I was so nervous and she was so kind and thoughtful! Just a lovely environment and overall wonderful experience - made even better by the beautiful dresses!

I went to Allum and Sidaway Bridal with my sister to find her 'The Perfect Dress'. We were welcomed on arrival, hot drinks offered and Philippa made us feel very comfortable and at ease. We were not rushed throughout our whole appointment and did not feel pressured to make any decisions. Philippa discussed with my sister what she was looking for and then literally picked out the perfect dress for her. My sister tried on a whole variety of different dresses to make sure she was happy and then Needless to say she said 'yes' to her dress.

Phillipa was amazing, she made us all very welcome. My daughter was made to feel really special . The service was excellent, the dresses stunning , so much so we found the perfect one !

Esther is an absolute master of making you feel confident and beautiful when trying on a variety of dresses, even those that don't fit very well. She has been a great help in helping me understand what type of dress works best with my body shape and my personal comfort, and I highly recommend anyone visit her as a necessity whilst wedding shopping. The dresses she stocks are also incredibly beautiful, with my personal favourite designer from this range being Hayley Paige. Enjoy your time with her!

I popped into the shop 5 weeks before my wedding, after sadly falling out of love with my original dress following 2 postponements due to covid. Esther was so lovely and helpful, and the bridal salon is absolutely beautiful. I felt so comfortable and looked after, and tried a few dresses on whilst discussing my options with only 5 weeks to go! I fell in love with a dress which Esther assured me could be altered in the timescale, and arranged another appointment with the seamstress for a few days time. I am so so pleased I came into the shop on a whim, the service was incredible and the seamstress recommended to me was so lovely and her work was amazing. Thank you so much Esther for ensuring I got married in my dream dress, and for being so welcoming and sweet. Would highly recommend to any bride!
