Alison did an astonishing job taking in my dream dress from around a size 14 to a size 8. She is an absolute pleasure to work with -- so rarely these days do you meet someone who loves their job like Alison does. Her knowledge of dress construction and how to alter it to fit you perfectly is really impressive. What's more, she's fun and makes every fitting something to look forward to.

I went to Alison last with a very strict time frame and a dress two sizes too big that i had fallen in love with.

Alison made it perfect for my wedding, her skillset for the intricacy if the dress was incredible and she was an absolute perfectionist!! - i would highly recommend her to anyone looking for alterations.

Alison is the most wonderful seamstress! I brought in my dress two sizes too big for me and she altered it to perfection to make it fit exactly, plus some extra alterations as well. Alison put us completely at ease and the dress turned out exactly what I wanted. Thank you Alison

Ali recently altered my wedding dress and bridesmaids dresses and she was fab from start to finish. She was lovley to be around and made me feel like a true princess. Would recommend Ali to any bride to be, all our dresses fit perfectly.

Fairy godmother doesn't come close!! Alison is incredible, she completely transformed my dress so it was exactly as I'd wanted.
I'm not overly confident but I've never felt more comfortable stood in my knickers in front of anyone! 🤣

Wow, where can I start.
From the first time speaking and meeting Alison she put me at ease and made me feel so relaxed. Alison and I had several appointments over a period of time and each appointment was unique and bespoke to me. It was almost like she knew what I was thinking and and we managed together to get my dress to exactly how I wanted it for my big day next Saturday.
Today I tried on my dress for my final fitting and WOW my dress completely blew me away it was more than I could ever of imagined. Thank you Alison for your hard work, love and dedication put into my dress it is absolutely beautiful 🤍
Anyone thinking about using this wonderful lady, please do. I would highly recommend her to anyone I know and I will always come to you for future alterations.

I can’t thank Alison even. I purchased a sale dress, which I know was a challenge for her. It was too large and too long and I also wanted the sleeves altered. Alison painstakingly unpicked much of my dress. This included shortening the scalloped hemline, replacing the button loops, repositioning the armholes and resizing the dress to fit me. Everyone thought my dress looked absolutely stunning. I would thoroughly recommend her to any bride and for a very reasonable price.

I contacted Alison with a rather unusual request after being turned down by every tailor in the area. I needed measuring up for a bespoke one-piece Kart Racing suit. Was greeted with a very warm welcome and went through the quite extensive list of measurements required. She rose to the challenge and after spending just over an hour making sure everything was checked and double checked ensuring absolute accuracy I left with complete confidence I have what is needed to have a race-suit that fits perfectly.

Now that I have now worn the racesuit properly it fits 100% perfect everywhere 1st time and is so comfortable. I cannot thank Alison enough, her measuring skills is amazing, millimeter perfect.
