Fellside Brides are fantastic! Holly and Gill are so warm and helpful. They made the whole daunting process of choosing a wedding dress not only easy but fun too! Nothing was too much trouble and it was so lovely knowing that they were just as excited as you to find the right dress! I was so pleased with my choice and the veil that complimented my dress so well. I would definitely recommend Fellside Brides if you are looking for great service and your dream dress!

Holly & Gill were fabulous from start to finish. The whole process with Fellside Brides from trying on, deciding, deciding again, trying on, alterations, button lessons and even walking down the aisle practice, ran smoother than imagined and the experience of buying my wedding dress was perfect. My daughter's wedding was planned and took place during the disruption of Covid. Fellside Brides were superb throughout. Their dresses are gorgeous - a much better selection than some upmarket London boutiques we visited. And they were calm, reassuring, caring and efficient through all the stresses of lockdowns and restrictions. She looked stunning on the day. Thank you so much.

I could not recommend Fellside Brides enough, the boutique is beautiful and so well stocked with a huge variety of dresses, even though I was looking for something specific I had to try on more! Holly & Gill and are professional and made me feel at ease & comfortable in all appointments, my original wedding date was postponed due to covid to which they were always the most helpful with ever changing dates and fitting in appointments. Thank you both for everything and making my dream dress vision come true 💖 xxx

The 2 ladies at my appointment were friendly, the shop looks lovely and is well laid out.
I was asked to look through the racks and pick dresses id like to try, they have a lovely selection of dresses.
We started to pull them off the rails to try on and one of the ladies said “oh you can’t try that one on, it won’t fit” this happened with more than one, I was confused as they were all available to order in my size and my wedding was 14months away. I realised why when I started trying them on- they only have pins to try and make the dress fit, no big clips to clip you in like the other 4 dress shops I’d been in.
Dresses I tried on that were my size the lady said “oh that’s beautiful on you, I’ll give you a good deal if you buy that one today” in the end they did allow me to try some of the larger sizes on, but with no clips the experience was rather disappointing. When we were going I was told “someone could come and buy that dress tomorrow and you’ll be missing a good deal” It just felt slight too ‘hard sell’
All in all I wouldn’t recommend, not the lovely bridal experience I was expecting, out of the 5 shops I’d been in they were the poorest experience.

From the moment I walked into Fellside Brides, I knew it would be the place I'd find my dream dress. I'd looked round several bridal shops and I can honestly say none came close to the service, expertise and personal touch I received here. I was a bit of a tricky customer in that I liked the top half of one gown, then the bottom half of another; the lace on one dress and the train on another (you get the picture!) Gill was incredibly patient with me and talked me through various options, one of which was to have a dress made. This seemed extreme but she reassured me and it was the best decision I made! She talked me through each step, guided me through choosing the material and designed a style that ticked all my boxes! During my many fitting appointments, Gill was efficient and professional but also so incredibly warm and fun! We always had a joke about my indecisiveness and I felt so comfortable asking for her advice on all things wedding, not just dress related. She was also very accommodating when I needed to bring my daughter to appointments and even sewed some matching lace onto her bridesmaid dress which looked adorable. Words cannot express how grateful I am to this lovely lady for everything she did for me. I loved my dress and the whole experience of having it made was really special. Thank you so much to Gill and all the team at Fellside Brides. I think you're truly wonderful and I have no doubt you'll continue to make a difference to hundreds more brides.

The BEST bridal shop! From my first appointment to the day I collected my dress I had a fantastic experience at Fellside Brides. Gill and Holly are so friendly, patient and give fantastic advice based on their vast experience. With their help I found the perfect dress which made me feel fabulous on my Wedding day not to mention the gorgeous veil Gill made. Thank you so so much.
