This is one of the most icon landmarks in Barnes. I am very fond if it so are most locals especially artists.

The bridge is one of the most painted image of Barnes along with Barnes pond.

It is also where the Barnes white rabbit pops up once a month, between the bridge and the White Hart Inn.

Many people have encountered this white bunny who has become a familiar presence.

Next time if heading to Barnes Bridge on first of the month in the hours of 7am to 8am you may be lucky to encounter him.

A lovely and understated bridge that’s essential now that Hammersmith bridge is shut for repairs.

This is a passenger and rail bridge tho, so no cars. The brick/concrete struts seem quite old but the metal work too seems more modern...not sure it is but it looks that way. Nice little stone seats on each end.

Little bit narrow so if it’s busy may be a bit of a squeeze.

Great views!

Great Bridge even though it doesn't suit me as a cyclist because of the stairs up and down. If you want a lovely Thames view go here. If you wish to double your pleasure cross to or stay on south bank and visit The White Hart for a pint/glass of wine or just to eat and take in the view.

Convenient way for pedestrians and trains to cross the river and provides some nice views of the river.

A crossing point of the Thames with graffiti and a geocache close by, why else would one be interested.
