Twickenham Bridge

Lovely place to hang around in the evening. Popular place in Richmond, West London area. Pubs, restaurant are around to enjoy. Dancing, music happens during the evening weekend.

Picturesque, plenty of parking (beware of residential permit times) a long walk to get down to the river as the bridge itself is steps only.
Takes aprox 20 mins to walk from here to Richmond Town center if in need of ice cream and free parking on the weekends.

Beautiful bridge with an even more picturesque walk beloy it. Walk from the bridge to Richmond bridge and enjoy Riverside pints on the way.

It was made from concrete in the 1930s,and originally had brass fittings with an Egyptian theme. All that remains now are the brass banisters and rails - the figures on the pillars are long gone now,as it's in a subtle state of disrepair.

I cycle along this bridge fairly often. It has a pretty good cycle lane, although only wide enough for one bike. There is a pedestrian area, but not ideal to have to come out of the bike lane onto that. The views across the bridge are good. The traffic is also quite fast moving, but cyclists and pedestrians should feel safe due to the width.

Lovely scenic walk identifying the local wildlife. Was a little disappointed that the banks are not as clear as they use to be.

Very picturesque, great area for cycling, walking and relaxing.
