WE LOVE THIS PLACE! Betws - Y - Coed is one of my favourite places up North. The gateway to Snowdonia. The place is so quaint. So beautifully picturesque during autumn with the changing leaves. Pont - Y - Pair Bridge as as iconic as anything! We’ve watched Salmon leap up stream during summer & also felt the water flowing so quickly under it the stonework is trembling during winter.

It's cute but wouldn't go again. Nothing special and overcrowded. Short walk in the woods as well, on a pushchair friendly path. Paying toilet on the carpark. 10min walk from the train station. Can be a stop on a way somewhere but don't expect to spend a day there. Lots of shops and restaurants around.

Very lovely place, right in the village center. You can climb the rocks or take one of the lively walks around, the short one is great for kids with some info games.
It is a popular spot for picnic or even to go and enjoy the water fir kids, dogs etc so to have it for yourself better come early or late.

A nice village nested beside a beautiful river. There's a pastry shop (located within a convenience store) that sells a delightfully cookie sandwich that's to die for.

What a cute little place! We went on a Tuesday around 3pm I think. Busy but not heaving. Very picturesque.

One of the best places to visit. You can actually go under the bridge and spent time listening to Waterfall. Overall Betws-y-Coed in one of the best places to stay.

Lovely place for walks, dog walking, touch base with mother nature, identify different species of trees, listen to the sound of water flowing through the river, etc. The boardwalk lead to various paths. Toillets are available in the carpark by the river but you will need the exact coins 30 pence (Sept 2022). Pedestrians and cars share the use of the lovely stoned bridge, so do look out for cars travelling to and from Betws-y- Coed.

HI, a wonderful, almost fairy-tale small town, in a beautiful forested land, very friendly to tourists. There is a wonderful mountain waterfall right next to the bridge in the central part of the town. There are 4 more hiking trails hidden in the beautiful forest. 4 hiking trails of various lengths and difficulty levels. from 1.2Km to 12Km long..;))
Great very crisp air, I recommend this place. Look at my photos.
