I pleasantly stumbled across the Ivy on a visit to Norwich and it was such a lovely experience. As a keen Ivy diner, mainly in London, I have to say the staff where super friendly and the service impeccable. Really enjoyed my afternoon tea for one and my dietary requirements were catered for. This Ivy has definitely left an impression on me. Thank you for such a wonderful dining experience and my cakes to go... :)

Vivre la France!! As you walk in you can't but be impressed by the decor and ambiance. The reception staff livery is enough to brighten the start of your adventure inside. We were not disappointed. We didn't like our table so they moved us to somewhere more to our liking! The food was excellently prepared and served. Excellent evening. It won't be our last when we're next in town. Well done you all.

Absolutely stunning decor in this lovely place and a reasonable menu. A nice treat to take someone for lunch and be prepared if you have to use the upstairs toilet especially if you are unfit like myself!. Good food and great cocktails.

Great chain brasserie in a stunning old building not far from Norwich Market. Great, varied menu, especially for breakfast or brunch. Courteous staff too. Worth a visit and if it's a special occasion you may receive an unexpected treat...

I booked this restaurant last minute on OpenTable as wanted my Mum to experience fine dining and the ambiance of an up market restaurant. I made a mistake and booked for 2 instead of 4 but on arrival they soon sorted that for me. The lady on the reservation desk saw my Mum had walking sticks so immediately went about her duties to find a suitable table on the ground floor. I was taken by how quickly they managed to source a table in a lovely part of the restaurant. The ambiance was really calm and the music flowed at a nice level. My Mum has never been treated to anything nice like this before so I was just so happy to watch her discover new good on a really lovely menu. She took herself out of her comfort zone and tried squid and scallops and washed it down with a delicious merlot. Thank you so much for making this experience beautiful and memorable for her. I hope she now has the taste for fine dining and quality and makes it back to you for a romantic sitting with her lovely partner Peter.

Beautiful interior, the servers were wonderful and welcoming. I wasn’t able to climb the stairs due to being disabled, They were very happy to accommodate me at a table downstairs.
We had the Afternoon Tea which was lovely with ample amounts of sandwiches and cake.
The disabled loo downstairs was easily accessible , although the taps were very stiff.

Perfection. Good, polite, attentive service. A real buzz about the place, feeling if everyone excited to be there. Tasty wild mushroom Tagliatelle 🍄, desserts a bit on the large size, but inventive - Santa's on his Way. Not overpriced.

Came here as a party of 4 , the bill came to £220.22 , a service charge of 12.5% was automatically added ( I personally don't agree with this , this isn't America , I leave a tip when a tip is earned ) .
I had salt and pepper squid as a starter , the squid was cooked perfectly but very bland , couldn't taste any salt or pepper , the mayonnaise that accompanied the dish added the flavour .
My friend said that the lobster and prawn salad was quite tasteless as well .
The hamburger I had as my main meal was tasty but like everything on the menu was over priced for what it was , at the price of £17.50 it should be exceptional .
3 of us had finished eating our main meal , the other was still finishing off his meal , we were asked twice if we were all finished , you could clearly see he was still eating !!
The table we were on was also very small for a party of 4 and situated right by the service desk , so a constant flow of kitchen staff hanging around to pass food onto the waiters .
On arrival at our table our coats were taken and we were given a ticket and were told to collect our coats at the checking in desk on our departure , the desk was empty and a queue of people waiting to be checked in , so we had to stand in the cold doorway and wait to have our coats returned .
I won't be going back or recommending the ivy to friends and family 👎👎👎
