The Broad Leys

The staff were lovely and the food delicious. Though there were quite a few mistakes with our meal, so appalling service. It appeared the team were under staffed/under trained, but trying their best. We waited quite a while for food and had some missed items, then had to cancel deserts because they hadn't arrived 40 mins later despite polite prompting.

I've always loved the broadleys, but this time service let them down, but that wasn't for the will of the team.

A bit overpriced as a hotel. Pictures look great, but you don’t see it is next to a petrol station and adjacent a pretty busy road. Staff is very friendly and breakfast is fine. No changing towels, making up the bed or refilling coffee etc on the room in between two nights…

I stayed here the night before my wedding back in June, and it was incredible. The rooms are absolutely gorgeous, the copper bath was beautiful! The food - both dinner and breakfast - was delicious. The bottle of prosecco in my room was a lovely touch. Thank you so much - you made my wedding all the more special.

Fantastic service, the food was faultless so 5* to the chefs.. Joel & Lucas were especially attentive, well mannered & friendly. Unfortunately we didnt get the name of our waitress but she was equally as wonderful 😊 Looking forward to visiting again soon!!

Since 2018 a group of 10+ of us come in on a Thursday night between 2130 and 2200 after our choir finishes rehearsal at the Grammar school. We were treated like the regulars we were by the lovely staff and always had a great time and spent plenty of money there. Since Covid and the takeover we are lucky to get in as they are always closing! No letting us get one drink in before they close. Really disappointing. Since when did pubs close at 10pm on a Thursday?

We had the Christmas dinner menu for 12 people. We had pre ordered our meals so it all ran smoothly on the night. I had the prawn cocktail which was a good size, followed by the turkey roast dinner which was extremely tasty and even came with our own personnel jug of lovely thick really tasty gravy. I was a little disappointed in the selection of desserts on the Xmas menu, would of liked a fruit cheesecake or trifle. Still a fabulous evening was had by all. Great food great value

My husband & I had a meal here last night and the whole experience was excellent. We had a steak dish that was divine, the service was great & the staff were lovely. We will go back 👍

I recently stayed at the Broad Leys & I highly recommend it. The rooms are very comfortable & had everything I needed. You would never know you were over a pub/restaurant, couldn't hear anything. Breakfast was delicious.
Staff all very attentive,would love to stay again. Thank you very much
