Visited yesterday to meet up with family and thoroughly enjoyed our time there.

I initially emailed, just to check whether we needed to book or not, and received a prompt response saying that a table would be reserved for us.

We had a great time there, with lovely food, with a great selection to choose from, and the service was prompt, friendly and we felt that they couldn't do enough for us.

Thanks for a lovely evening.

Lovely pub. I am a bit biased as it is our local! However, that aside it is a great place to relax, eat and of course have a drink. Dave and Nicki are great hosts as were David & Helen who were the previous landlords. Quiz night every fortnight.

Such a shame the food was acceptable nothing special, the veg arrived when we had almost finished the main meal.we arrived at around 1300 it was almost 2pm when we received our main course ,no table menus had, to to get up and look at the menu board.
We decided to have a sweet but we were completely ignored despite staff milling around .
We had to wave at a waitress she came over ,we advised we would like a sweet, she went away and we didn't see any body for ages,we did get our sweet eventually ,we finally got out the pub at around 1500 hrs.

Great food and great service. Perfect family and couples dinning. Best chips and homemade chicken pie. friendly staff and great atmosphere. Recommend a meal or just a drink. All welcome.

Nice cozy pub with homely decor. Food OK but nothing particularly special for the price. We both had burgers, bit overcooked and bland and would have made a big difference if served up with a little salad. Overall, nice place for a drink but won't be back for food.

Stopped off here after walking the dog, as it's a dog friendly pub. The welcome was amazing, especially for our dog, who was given a bowl of water and some biscuits. The service was really polite and when the food arrived it really surprised me. I had lamb shank and the wife had a fish pie and both were amazing. The service was really polite and efficient, all at a reasonable cost. Definately well worth another visit.
