Our meal was delicious and very typical of price these days.
A lovely young lady worked very hard to provide an excellent service with very little support from her male colleague!
There is a lot of seating inside and out.

Liked: The site is basically a field next to a pub. There are toilets available 24 hours and the food and beer in the pub are excellent and reasonably priced. I went for a single night stay while on a motorcycle camping trip and, to be honest, it was absolutely perfect for my purposes.
I am actually slightly sorry that I had to leave before the tractor rally taking place in the field next door on the Sunday started. I don't know why, but I am.

Liked: Close to pub

Disliked: Large groups allowed to book and have noisy party till gone 1am on first night!
Second day man with dog tried attacking my dogs and then charged and barked at every other dog passing, came away and did not use last night ruined stay!
Definitely not peaceful as stated

Liked: Lovely country pub with beautiful beamed restaurant. Mix of traditional and Asian food.
2 large fields for wild camping, (no ehu) basic but quiet and surrounded by woodland. Separate and basic toilet block outside pub - no showers - which is open 24 hours.
Friendly and welcoming owners.
Secluded pub garden.

Disliked: Nothing! We will be back!

Liked: We had a very warm welcome from the lady at the Barley Mow, the pub its self is beautiful. We were the only people staying that night and we had a lovely quiet night. The food at the pub is excellent as is the service. Loved our stay

Nice quite pub... in the middle of nowhere! Nice friendly staff I had a very tasty burger! And forgot to take a pic of the desert which looked as good as it tasted!

Great food, quickly served, and reasonably priced. Sunday roast had plenty of meat, good roasties and Yorkie. Bit light on veggies. Great bread and butter pudding! Enjoyed the banter between the staff.

My husband and I have just had lunch , we pre ordered soup that was outstanding freshly made to order. We also had the chocolate brownie, personal y I would call a chocolate melt , as it just melted in your mouth can not recommend that enough. The service was very good Imogen the front of house could not do enough to please . Can not highly recommend it enough. Go and enjoy.
