Fantastic food and service!! I cannot recommend this restaurant enough. The team are very friendly, the food was served quickly and it was delicious. We will definitely be back.

Staff was friendly but not really attentive. The major let down was the sub par food. Absolutely dreadful.
As you can see, the fries were undercooked, and the onion rings were burnt (please see picture). The BIGGEST let down was the pitiful and very sad “Cajun Chicken Burger”. As you can see it was merely a chicken breast, on a raw burger bun not toasted, or grilled or anything. The bun was falling apart. The actual burger had no sauce, or even cheese!! Was just a disappointing. Please see picture.
Would not recommend and will definitely not be coming again.
Update: Much credit to her, the manager came up to us when taking the bill and asked how everything was. Upon showing her the images she was shocked, said she would talk to the “chef” and deducted it from our bill which was greatly appreciated.

Located on a small side road this pub restaurant is larger than you would imagine from the outside. Staff are very friendly and we had a very nice meal.

They were a bit pushed when we went to this pub with only two people working, one in the kitchen one doing everything else but we didn't have to wait long to be seated and served. Food Menu was somewhat smaller than posted on the web but it was lunch time so might be limited. None the less it came quickly despite the number of customers and the two staff and was as much as we could eat. Lamb burger and chips all cooked perfectly. Too many times a simple meal like this has something amiss but not here, this was very good value. Staff were attentive efficient and friendly. Gin of the day was delicious and cider and lemonade was perfectly balanced.

This was our second lunchtime visit to The Lanb and Flag and was not disappointed. We both chose the Gourmet Burger which was huge and cooked to perfection. The waitress was really friendly and efficient. We will definitely be visiting again in the New Year.
