Stables Restaurant

We all chose main courses from the daily fish board and were not disappointed. The fish was prepared beautifully and the portions were generous, the same went for the sautéed potatoes and vegetables. Desserts were to die for. It may be a little more expensive than your average restaurant but the food more than justified the prices. On top of this the restaurant was a very pleasant place to eat and the staff were friendly and attentive.

Just had an amazing meal at the stables. The food, ambience and staff you would find hard to beat. Excellent vegan choices. Would recommend this place .

Set in the town walls of tenby, dimly lit to the point of reading the menu and seeing your food is difficult. Nice interior setting though. Had the venison loin cooked nicely although sauce was poured everywhere with sprigs of thyme on top don't know why. Mash was tasty and well cooked. Dessert was a disaster ice coffee tia Maria walnut meringue . Ice, as in tasted frozen check, walnuts as in loads of them check, coffee well it tasted like a mix of camp and cheap nesafe. If it wasn't for the venison this review would have been a lot worse, near £40 main and £8.5 dessert I've been in Michelin starred restaurants in London, torquay Las Vegas and dubai and not paid much more, this doesn't come close, over priced for what it is, not recommended

Absolutely fabulous meal. The chef tailored my starter so as not to have any spice and the service was excellent and friendly. A great way to celebrate our wedding anniversary.

Lovely meal at the Stables last night, we ate with our two daughters aged 11 and 8, we were all warmly welcomed from the rain outdoors, the staff were attentive and friendly. Family oriented people which was lovely. We had the salmon and buffalo mozzarella to start and really enjoyed both, the flavours were very fresh. For mains we had the rack of lamb, chicken tarragon, chicken goujon pasta and sausage and mash, we all really enjoyed the food and atmosphere. Thank you :)

Our first time at this delightful restaurant, warm, welcoming and friendly. Excellent food freshly prepared, delicious, we look forward to returning!

It's not often I'm lost for words but everything about Stables was superb. Great food, great people and great service. Nuff said!
