From the warm welcome at reception and from all staff, front of house, we cannot praise them enough in making us feel welcome and ensuring our visit was enjoyable.
The food was out of this world. It looked amazing, delicate and tasted absolutely exceptional! Every mouthful was a taste sensation, flavours balancing with texture and acidity! Presentation of each dish was well thought out and executed!
Our drink were delicious; the aperitif and wines were full of flavour and bouquet, again exceptional.
The service was second to none. Staff members were ready to take our orders for food and drinks. They delivered food with detailed explanation of the dish.
Overall we were very impressed with the quality of the food, drink, environment and staff. We will highly recommend and most certainly look forward to our return.
A special thank you to staff for organising for us to meet Hywel. Such a genuine person who deserves the absolute best in the future.
After mentioning this fact in passing whilst we were being sat outside to order a cocktail and enjoy the glorious view the staff wrote and signed a happy anniversary card which was then waiting at our table which was an incredibly sweet gesture to find waiting for us when we went in to enjoy our meal.
As you would expect the food was incredible and in addition to the 3 set courses there were also canapes, an amuse bouche and a loaf of their homemade laverbread infused bread.
After the meal was finshed we were then presented with home made icream lollipops and macaroons on a plate with Happy Anniversary written in white chocolate sauce, a perfect end to the perfect visit.
The staff were fantastic and really went the extra mile to make our visit extra special.
If you are thinking of visiting there I cannot recommend it highly enough and you will not be disappointed.
Fantastic food, wine and hospitality.
Went for the 8 course tasting menu, especially enjoyed the Crab, Raviolo and bara brith Souffle.
The Laverbread Bread was delicious too
Wine selection was great and not too expensive.
Make sure you book plenty of time in advanced as it's not always easy to get a table.
We went for the tasting menu, which is a good way to try as much as possible! Of course with a place at this level the staff were attentive and very professional. Unfortunately we couldn't stretch to the float of wine to go with it, we'll save that for another visit.
A lovely and memorable visit.
