They charge you way over if your face is not familiar. I was charged £70 for 2 lengths of gutter and 6 clips. I questioned it and was told it was correct. The same order was £30 in b&q. DON'T USE BUILDBASE.

Spoke with Jamie to order a bulk bag of compost, but order/payment systems were down. Called early the next morning (7.30) order placed, and delivered to me in Bishops Cleeve by 10 am. Outstanding customer service, must have been very frustrating for the staff, but they were very professional and polite. Jamie was brilliant, couldn't have asked for better service.

Hirebase has great range of small tools and plant for hire from 1ton up to 5t Excavators and dumpers. Helpful staff and good location.

Counter staff was very helpful and directed us to the yard man.
We don’t have his name but he had Ginger hair.
He was extremely polite and helpful in carrying 2 lengths of coving to the car.
He helped us fit the long lengths into the car without cutting them.
He also acted as Trip Adviser when we asked if there was a local pub where we could lunch on our way home to Cardiff.
He suggested the The King William in Cranham.
I am pleased to say we had an excellent lunch.

Huws Gray Buildbase Gloucester had everything in stock we need for our curent project the yard man was extremely helpful and even sorted through the wood as he asked what we were using it for to make sure it was in top condition

Entered main building walked through to find a number of staff sat at their desks avoiding eye contact. Waited to be served or pointed in the right direction, to eventually have a yard worker come past who replied bluntly "over there" pointing to the serving area we were waiting nearby anyway. A reluctant member of staff came over to serve us. We're working as part of a major works project in the local area and will avoid returning to BUILDBASE in favour of another supplier like Travis Perkins who are helpful and value customers. I'd appreciate if they were busy with other customers but we were the only ones waiting.

Great place for all your building products and they also do kitchen's and bathrooms too! They have a good showroom with lots on display. Worth a visit if you're looking to replace yours!
