Jewson Southampton - Woolston

Used to be a local builders merchants, long since taken over by Jewson. Has lots of building materials, but more often than not when I go there, the DIY item I want is not stocked and I am directed to the larger branch of Jewson a few miles away.

Very expensive place. Went here for an additional bit of wood that I bought from another supplier earlier in the day (I had under estimated what i needed) 1.49 for 3 meters form the other supplier, 9.60 per meter from Jewson. Complete rip off and yes it was exactly the same style of wood.

Helpful staff but in my opinion not the cheapest. I use them because they're very local to me.

Not the biggest but good if your local and just need anything jewsons offers on a smaller scale probably got a better selection of smaller tools. They have a good selection of paints and drainage fixtures didn't look at what stone sand or slabs they provided but they definitely had some in yard. Very nice staff also well worth a visit.
