I found a helpful bunch of people who helped me get the stuff I wanted, (4xballast and 1xcement). They loaded up by vehicle too. The trick is to ask someone at the counter or any of the resident workers. The people are working hard on bulk orders but will sort you out as quickly as possible. It probably helps to have a sense of humour too :) especially on a hot summers day like today.

Rubbish. Stock is poor. Hire ain’t great. Many times I have been there and if the hire guy ain’t there no Ono else can hire you equipment, most of the staff are helpful but it’s definitely not the best branch.

Absolute useless!!! Ordered some bits for hire four days before it was to be delivered only to be waiting on the day with my builder and nothing turning up. After ringing the store several times I was told nothing could be delivered that day as the person in charge of deliveries was off sick and nobody else knows what to do. No phone call from the store to let me know they weren't going to deliver or anything. After asking when will the items be delivered I was told they couldn't say! Get a call the the next day to say they can now deliver my stuff after I had to go hire from another place. Terrible service!!!!

I have just returned from a visit to Jewsons in Haringay.
Barbara, who served me, was extremely helpful. Without having to ask, she picked up the heavy items and put them safely in the car for me.
She has a very charming way of interacting with clients, which is extremely rare nowadays.
Jewsons are very lucky to have her on their team.
I would be very happy to purchase again from this company, based on the very helpful Barbara.

Really expensive. Always has been always will be. I found the same materials in Wickes 30% cheaper. Service is not any better in Jewsons so what's the point.
