Good delivery service but they are not always competitive with prices. The plumbing section is expensive compared to B and Q.. Be careful when buying replacement fencing panels, they wont always fit the existing gaps, so measuring them first could save you lots of time.

I don't know the first thing about carpentry, but wanted to try some DIY with wood. I went to TBS this afternoon; the two staff behind the counter couldn't have been more helpful, and were clearly very knowledgeable. They took time to advise me how best to tackle the job I had in mind, which type of wood would be most suitable, and which tools to select given my inexperience. Fantastic service, thank you!

Excellent local independent builders merchant for trade and DIY, no account needed. Huge range of products available from bricks, blocks, cement and plasterboard through to screws, electrical products, ironmongery and tools. Sales office offer take offs from plans, bathroom and kitchen supply and doors and windows. Service is good and deliveries are made daily.

They have a very well stock yard and shop.
There prices are great value.

Social distantsing top priority here. Also you need to join the queue with the recycling centre while waiting for a parking bay to become available at TBS as gates are opposite each other. The queue moves pretty quickly tho. They had all I needed in stock. And mixed a paint colour for me too. 5 stars definitely.
