Wickes

Since restrictions came back in with lockdown I am appalled at what they have done to the disabled access. With the disabled parking limited, trollies being left in the way. Spoke to the young man on the door and the duty manager.

Visited today for the 1st time and the gentleman who cashed my items was not helpful or offered assistance of another staff.I bought 4 bags of-5L compost as a female- which was so heavy & all he did was pointed where they are & a trolley should be outside.
I lifted all 4 bags on my own with other staff walking by and was rather taken aback no one offered....
No worries I got them fine to my vehicle but honestly I won't be spending my money there again

Absolutely love Wickes. The staff are always friendly and helpful, they always have what you need at a decent price, and the ability to check stock and order online is very useful. I have just completed a couple of diy building projects and have used Wickes for most of the building materials. I have both collected in store and had home deliveries. It’s all good.

Wickes always seems to have a good stock of items when I go in, you need to shop round has they can be very expensive on a lot of items that you can get cheaper like Screwfix or b&q ,good opening hours. Oli and the manager are very helpful and happy to help you out if needed.

Terrible.. Wanted 13amp fuses, asked but didn't have any so I went to screwfix who had 10 for £2

First time using there click and collect service very happy with it
Extremely fast and more than happy to help me find everything else I needed after asking me if I had everything to finish my project with what I bought 😀

Good stock but on the expensive side.

Was sent to b&q whilst they were refurbishing the showroom, only wanted to get prices, totally useless
