Wickes

Open May Bank Holiday Monday so first good news. Bought 6 x 25kg of cement, std price at £5.15 each but excellent service received when customer support took the bags to my car and loaded them in for me. I'd have really struggled to lift them into my boot so hence 5 star service. Plus lots of parking close to store.

Wickes delivered all my items at the right time slot given the planter is strong for the little patio tree I ordered slabs gravel and weed membrane for home delivery the delivery Guy offered to place the items in the driveway close to my gate highly recommended Wickes for all garden

Placed order online.. got to store to find order hadn’t been picked.. waited 30 mins for them to pick it.. as queues built up, person picking my order had to return to tills to serve in the middle of picking my order. Staff don’t seem to care, they looked totally fed up. No customer service at all

If you're getting delivery it's fine (and even then, make sure they deliver everything - pieces of our delivery were missing and I had to chase to get them). In person the customer service is awful. We went in this morning for some timber and were told that they didn't have what we wanted (the shelves were bare). When we asked to order it for delivery the two women behind the desk rolled their eyes and magically went to the back and brought us the exact product they had moments earlier said they absolutely did not have. It was astounding to watch.

Clean and well kept store that is well lit and stocked. Plenty of stock which is well laid out and plenty of staff around to help If needed.

The item that i wanted showed 5 in stock. When i got there none in stock because stock lists not kept up to date. Went to Bicester which showed 15 in stock snd guess what there was plenty in stock. Its not rocket science Oxford! To be honest i would rather go 10 miles out of my way in future!

We purchased a kitchen from Wickes in March 2022. After their installers keep cancelling the installation at the last minute without notice, our estimated installation date is now April 2023. If you're buying a kitchen, avoid Wickes at all costs.

I'll update this review when the kitchen is installed.

Medium selection of things, but service really poor - a long queue and staff didn't know what they were doing when you get to the tills. A lengthy process!!
However, good stock and good prices...
