What has happened to a DIY store to become this much of a mess? Potholes in the carpark,builders rubble and other rubbish strewn on the grass,fences down and a sorry state of affairs.Staff sat on pallets looking at phone waiting for click and collect orders,no pride in the area they are working,aisles with products in a "it doesn't matter position" and to finish you need to wait in a long queue as there's only one person to work on the cash desk to take your money!!

As a plasterer by trade, at the moment the only good thing about wickes is a permanent 10% discount.
No angle beads, no bonding, no adhesive at times and the bags of multi finish and board finish are quite often ripped or stacked poorly.
I understand there's supply issues but b&q manages to get stock in (even if it is a worse brand) at least we can get our job done.

Easy to find with plenty of parking space. I was having trouble ordering doors online so had to go in the shop to sort it, I was only there 5 minutes they sorted it quickly brilliant service. Wiks doesn't look big from the outside but inside it's plenty big enough the kitchen & bathroom showroom part has alot of choice for ideas good prices too. Definitely recommend a visit

Booked and paid for a kitchen in March, been messed around by the installations team and no contact from the designer in store. Delays and excuses with each department contradicting the other. Now being told the earliest fitting date is January, not confident of this as its been cancelled 4 times already. Happy to take money but provide no customer service! No communication between departments, each blaming the other, at the end of my tether! Save yourself time, money and stress and go elsewhere. Also don't order the slab tech worktops they have no fitters who can fit them!

Went to view the kitchen ranges at Wickes Sutton in Ashfield and dealt with an extremely arrogant woman who didn't have a clue what she was talking about. She estimated it would cost around £12,000 for they type of kitchen we wanted. So we went down the road to Howden's and for a much better quality kitchen was quoted £6,000 'including' integrated appliances. Be very careful what you believe from the Wickes clowns!!!

Small store but they had what i needed in stock, whereas just around the corner at b&q they didn't.

We did a click and collect order. Easy, quick and was ready to collect in no time! Friendly staff and lots of parking
