Robert Price - Builders' Merchants

This used to be a quality Company to deal with.
However, ever since they have expanded and aquired so many new bases, in their Quest & search for supuriorority, they have lost "complete track" of customer service. Further their charges have far exceded most other smaller companies,
and their staff attitudes are one of "could not care less" & This at manager level.
This also comes from a discussion with a Director, who readily agreed he can buy plaster elswhere much cheaper then he can from RP and they still continue to procure from such expensive sources.
It is no longer a pleasure to talk to uncaring uninterested staff, who care more about discussing their personasl issues with each other, rather than serving the customer, who in fact keeps them employed in the 1st place.. I despair and now try to avoid dealing or spending my money with them .

Over priced for wat u need compare to local building merchants wont use again

I recently bought some Iko felt shingles from the Ebbw Vale branch. Not only was the product first class but the service I received was second to none!

Friendly staff that are very helpful with there advice, i little bit more expensive than other merchants but good quality materials easy access into the yard recommend a visit for a price,

Had a delivery from the ebbw Vale branch, brilliant service. Josh the delivery guy was very helpful brilliant service from him also

Good prices, very helpful, great team, went out there way to help me would recommend to all

You can't buy anything there sales are not permitted on account even if you have one

Proper job. Tipped 24 pallets of tiles in no time at all.
