Stupidly expensve. With a trade discount Jewson are almost twce the price of other builders merchants. I feel sorry for the staff, who are very polite and pleasant, having to give these prices.

Ps even the man in front of me in the line got charged 70 bob for a bit of wood. Poor old man nearly had hart attack. I paid over 20 for bit of 6mm ply. Gasp.

The 1 star is Only for the products . When I have been in there has only ever been either no one thear or someone sat down with thear feet on the desk. If thear was someone they gave very little info if I asked a question and they don’t show any prices this may be all of the shops or just this one but when ever I asked how much something was they would always grown as if to say “work I have to do work “

OMG HOW MUCH ARE THE SEALERS?!?? Popped to buy 40 lead mates as we were working close by....nearly fell over £10ish plus Vat!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Went to GAP Chester - great service great guys super helpful and only charged us a third of what Jewsons wanted........

Shame the management can't read the time, they close at 12noon however when I arrived at 11:48 , the manager was outside dressed in shorts and a t-shirt beconing the rest of the team out the door so he could lock up.
Clearly eagar to get out, he could only grunt "closed mate".

Went to buy a combi lock.....The lady behind the counter was fantastic. So helpful, guiding us to the exact lock we wanted.

Everything we needed for our patio. Flagstones, sand, cement, hardcore and tool hire.
Really pleased with the service we had.
Would definitely recommend to anyone with a diy project.
(Delivery driver was top bloke as well)
