LBS Builders Merchants Ammanford

Really good building merchants. I was slightly worried being English but had no choice I had work in ammanford and had to travel two hours to get there. I'd arranged for materials to be delivered on the Thursday and spoke to a guy called Kevin. He sorted out all my materials for me and the delivery was there first thing at 8.30 as promised. They were faultless!. I will be using them again when i'm back up that way!

LBS has got everything you need to build a home. I recently went there to get food vents, the staff were very knowledgeable on building processs and what was needed to get the air circulating in the attic. We bought the vents from LBS which was really reasonably priced. LBS has a big outdoor yard where you can see the other building materials. I always give a call to make sure the stock is in, but even if it isn't they get the stock really quickly.

Ordered some stud timber for dry walling, and was delivered studs that were waterlogged and smelling of rot. Apparently they store all of their timber outside. This batch must have been out and uncovered for some time. Returned it as it was as much use as breast on a fish, wasted 3 days of my time over this and not even an apology from staff. Looking elsewhere from now on. Cant give zero stars on here but would give massive negative if I could.

Very helpful guy in the yard who went out his way to assist me with my search for knot free skirting boards, and the good service continued throughout. Great products and a great service.

Very helpful and patient with me over taps that I had to change twice and even one of the lads popped round with bits I had forgotten to get for plumber. Real gents! Good service 5 star.

Ridiculous the amount of office staff that will sit there and watch the only person serving and not care about him or the ten + trades waiting to be served.. should all be re trained and watch how the yard staff help everyone asap.

Not very good today. Slow, and when we got our goods the help pushed the boards into the roof of our van...no regard for others property.
