I can't believe they have only 1 branch for entire Ipswich town. It's time consuming to drive or walk or bus (plus the cost of parking or bus ticket) all the way down to the town centre for something that can only be possibly done in branch.

Excellent service. When I went there to open an account, the staff was very courteous and polite. The appointment was given soon. They explained everything thoroughly and answered questions.

I think Nationwide is ok bank, however I do find other branches more efficient and helpful than Ipswich Branch.
This company doesn't like customers, making complaints. If you make a complaint can result to your account being closed🤔 ( which is pretty poor) I guess that's one way of keeping complaints down, there overal customer service statistics is inaccurate.
Bank/Society should welcome complaints, it's how they learn and improve things. ( not every single person that makes a complaint, wants money. They don't have to give it to them compensation.
I do think branches that are not the top of the lead board table, should seek advice on how they can improve in certain areas, with other branches. To give customers that wow factor experience🙂 after all all under the same company and should help one other out. ( positive feedback)

This might be the only branch in ipswich but here's a question for all you moaning about it, why is it that its in the centre of town and there's also online banking because you clearly had no trouble commenting on this, the staff are nice polite and professional and to be honest I think it's disrespectful to disregard them. Where ever you live in ipswich even on foot it takes half an hour max, be respectful for the service these people provide

The staff here have always been exceptionally helpful and will do their best to assist however they can. Service is speedy and there's a number of ATM's inside the bank to save waiting in queues to deposit cheques.

The staff are extremely rude,specially the one at the entrance ,so rude that my partner has decided to move his savings to another bank.During the first lockdown he was forced to discuss his personal business in the street .Please have a bit of common sense some customer do not wish to discuss their thousands of pounds transactions in the street and instead would expect privacy and respect.It is a great shame as his Camden town branch is fantastic.
