Merthyr Tydfil Bus Station

Don't expect to take shelter after 6pm in the bus station inside as come 6pm doors closed.
Public toilets make sure have change as no change given and on the odd occasion it takes your money n doesn't work so you fork out another 20p.
There are two takeaway / coffee places if want coffee tea sandwiches,etc.not cheapest places to grab snack on go but does the job if want a coffee etc to go.
There's also seating whilst waiting for buses.
Buses are all to pot of late so don't expect them to show or if do not always in the stand it says they're due at.
There's a water wall fountain to refill water bottles which is handy.

The bus station is much improved and a nice place to visit, well organised nice and clean. The cafes are a nice touch too.
Wish we had that same service in our town.
Our station is filthy and there are hardly any buses, as most of them have been cancelled over the years.

How inefficient and idiotic the management, was talking to an old lady who lives by hospital was telling the bus service 27 to Hospital doesn’t run on Sundays! This hospital is the main place in merthyr and no bus service on Sundays? Is this blatant disregard or complete lack of common sense or just a blind eye to the taxis who in Return can pay the management something in return?

The new bus station is well laid out, with pedestrian access from the town centre and the main road. There is ample seating and a small cafe which was still open at 16:40 when I left. It appears clean and tidy. Toilets are pay per use, but currently seem unlocked and not taking money. The electronic display boards give details of the estimated arrival time and gate for each bus. However, some times are wrong at present due to road works and closures. A pleasant experience overall. It can be really busy on times, and be sure to check the displays to see which gate your bus is arriving at.

It's a bus station!
It is clean,has good toilets including one for a radar key but 20p for the others.
Theres a snack shop and a small cafe that does nice toasted sandwiches but mediocre coffee.

It's a lovely bus station with modern facilities, and shops for coffee/ quick bite. I used the bus station on several occasions and found it very good. The display board is very accurate and user friendly, the staff is very helpful and the seating area is comfortable with lots of space. I boarded a number of buses from Merthyr Tydfil bus station and would highly rate the service here.

I was impressed with the new Modern bus station, a lovely kiosk and waiting area. Paying for the use of a toilet has helped maintain the facility and keep it fresh so I think it is a good idea.
