your staff is rude on the phone and it is impossible to book a hotel online because spa is not available !! your website is useless and you are rude to customers, we will poor bad comments online after spending an hour trying to book a package that does not work !!! thanks for being uselless

I have just come back from a weekend away in The Grand hotel St Helier. The staff are lovely and cannot do enough for you. The spa was nice, but no room for loungers. Just 3 wicker arm chairs to sit. The main pool is a lovely size, but not that warm. Other people were saying the same thing. You would expect the pool to be alot warmer in a spa. The food and service in the restaurant was lovely. Very reasonably priced too. Breakfast? The cooked breakfast is very greasy, especially the eggs. Something I would expect from a greasy spoon. We had lunch in the lounge area. We sat for a long time and no one came. I had to go and get a waitress. She came over then left to answer her phone. When we eventually ordered, we waited ages for our drinks and alot longer for our sandwich. Then when we asked for the bill, no one came back, even though they were serving tables beside us. In the end my Husband had to go and find someone so he could pay the bill. A bit disappointing in such a lovely hotel. Maybe we picked a bad time.

Trying to book a spa day needs some improvement...
"Treatment from £79"... Go to check out, no upgrades... suddenly £95.
Also "85 minutes of treatment" consisting of one 25 minute and one 40 minute treatment... That does not total 85 minutes.

Beautiful properties and excellent customer service. Would highly recommend!
