Honest waste of time. They might as well say to you when signing the contract that the deposit paid is just another few months worth of rent as you will not be getting it back no matter what you try and do. They will add in extra fees at the drop of a hat and charge you handsomely for them to line their own pockets. They say they aim to help out small business' who have just started but really they're only helping themselves. There's a company still there who now have 5 units with them so I dread to think how much they will lose if they ever leave but saying that, that is probably why they're still there as they can't afford to.

Had a unit from this company for many years now. Will be out as soon as it is feasible. They started out fair, providing four walls and a roof at a reasonable price. There are new fees and responsibilities every year, you need to scrutinise every invoice. We are now paying 30% more for these four walls and 100sqm of floor space than I'm paying for a 4 bedroom semidetached house and gardens with five times the footprint. Over the years the estate and the service has deteriorated significantly. It's no surprise half the units are usually empty. Many have come and gone, very few tenants are long term. Staying in touch with those that have left, I only hear horror stories of them being stung for ludicrous admin fees.

DO NOT RENT WITH THIS COMPANY IF YOU VALUE YOUR MONEY.
I will open admit here that I didn't read the contract as well as I should have when signing up to rent with Flexspace but they are only in it for the money and will do everything they can to keep every penny of your deposit to the point where they may as well not call it a deposit and call it a payment to them. There is no communication in what these bills and charges are for they just keep sending you invoices. Awful company would never rent from them again.

I am disgusted with my experience at Flexspace. Whilst out of the country, mid-pandemic, unable to immediately fly home, they told me that they were shutting down and if I did not collect my things immediately they would throw them into the street for anyone to take. Bear in mind, this was within a 2 week notice period which was not long enough time for me to fly home, quarantine and then travel to pick up my things. Initially I had no one to help me - and Flexspace offered me absolutely zero support depsite this and they did not a spec of human decency for a struggling student. They were ready to throw away every single thing I owned. They have another nearby unit and would not move my things or work with me to arrange any transportation - which since they had put me in this situation, you would think they would try and help me, but of course, this wasn't the case. On top of this, the staff were extremely rude and condescending to me personally and offered no sympathy for my upset. When my friends collected my things on my behalf, they were rude to them too.

I wish I could rate them 0 stars instead of 1 for this absolutely horrdendous experience. I was very close to having every item I own thrown in the trash due to their negligence. They clearly do not care about their customers.

And after this, it seems they are still open? Do not use this company.
