Maypole Butchers

Originally from London, I have searched for a butchers shop like this around the Warwickshire area for a long time. I have tried many and been very disappointed with the quality and the fact that most of the meat they sold me is not even English let alone local. I decided to give Maypole Butchers a go on the recommendation of my local restaurant. I am a professional food critic and its very difficult to pull the wool over my eyes. I was therefore very pleasantly surprised that when questioning the source of the meat not only was I supplied with the paperwork proof of where my purchase was from the farmer who reared the animal was also stood behind me!
I have returned several times and every single time the meat has been faultless. The staff however really make it for me.
They are very experienced and knowledgeable, they always seem to have a shop full of happy customers and they made me feel very very welcome. Try it you will love it I promise.

Seriously the best meat I've tasted. Just moved into the area but suffice to say I won't be going anywhere else for my Sunday joint! Very lucky to have this on my doorstep.

I've used them now for several months and never failed to be blown away by their high quality products and excellent service.
They home cure bacon- which is delicious.
My favourite is probably their steaks, which are genuinely the best I've ever bought.
They deserve massive success.

Was catering an 8 course tasting menu and popped in on the off chance they would have pig cheeks (We make an amazing pig cheek popcorn with a pork belly dish!🤣👍) and ended up getting meat for 3 of the courses. Quality produce for a great price with lovely knowledgable staff.. also grabbed some banging English cheeses for the final course and a sausage roll for my drive home😁
