A Moss Butchers

Superb butcher with outstanding quality meat including local game and the best baked goods ever. Dinner pies, pork pies and hot sausage rolls are exquisite and very reasonably priced. Bought my Xmas goose here. Hand reared by one of the team. Phenomenal. Ooh and lovely people too - always let me sneak in late on Saturday when finishing my work just before they shut up shop. Nothing is ever too much trouble.

They give good old fashioned customer care. Not cheap, but good quality meat and pies are amazing. I wanted a Barnsley chop, they offered a couple and I asked for the leaner one of the 2. They then went round the back and brought out an even leaner one. They care about their customers, not just the bottom line. And have a green eye, wrapping meat in paper not plastic.

Fresh meat, cold meats, bakery products,, hot food, chilled food, veg and fruit...all excellent produce!!! Very pleasant, efficient and helpful staff....And on our door step too...
What more do you need!!

Great butchers, very friendly staff. Nice display of the various meats and an abundance of home made pies. Well worth a visit for all your bbq needs and entertaining.

I was working over that way today and called in for a bite or 3.
I’ve been to Repton quite a few times for work and also as a passing history nerd, but never called in to this ‘foodie’s Nervana’ before.
Now I need to make a special trip to Repton for some more of this this fantastic grub. 👍

"A MOSS" butchers. Great pies, superb sausages and beautiful Barnsley Chops. The back bacon is EPIC! very clean, well displayed and packed full of cakes and other goodies. Highly recommended 👌

Went into the shop today for 3 fillet steaks and paid £25, I have never been so disappointed or had so much gristle within a cut of steak before, almost inedible. Will not be back again.
