I phoned a few days ahead to ask for fillet steaks for our self-catering holiday. Friendly service as they were put aside for me. They were 'aged six weeks sir' and probably among the best we've ever eaten. Superb local butcher.

We stayed just down the road on a recent weekend break and discovered this little gem of a shop. Beautifully presented meat and other goods, friendly and helpful staff; but the best bit was eating their lamb which carved like butter and tasted delicious. Thanks boys, I look forward to visiting you again another time,

I have been buying my meat from Robin and Mark for the last 5 years . They are two of the best blokes around. Their meat is terrific and is completely different from anything you would buy in a supermarket, even Waitrose or M&S. I have yet to buy anything duff and even with my standard of cooking everything seems to come out fantastically well.

Amazing butcher. Best steaks and minted lamb. Also best place for Christmas turkey crown.
