Alan Davies Butcher

It is getting increasingly hard to find a truly excellent local butcher but Berriew is lucky. Alan Davies is a skilled butcher and local farmer who stocks his shop with meat from his own farm and the quality is excellent, he also produces his own sausages and even cures his own bacon! This is a proper family butcher who doesn't charge the extortionate prices that are to be found in urban delicatessens for produce of this quality. Definitely worth a visit. A*

Moved to Berriew December 2020 and delighted to find such an excellent butcher in the village - cracked black pepper sausages are delicious - the bacon is also really tasty. Alan's steak pies are utterly scrumptious!!
