Forest Holidays Sherwood Forest

We had a lovely relaxing time. The hot tub was great and we loved the bike trails. We would definitely recommend and cannot wait to come back again maybe next year!

What a great time we had. Fro checking in to all the services we used. Big shout out to Samantha who went all out to sort some kindling ut for us. Would definitely recommend it to everyone who needs a relaxing break. Can't wait to get back

We stayed in the couples cabin for a long weekend. The cabin was very nice and a great space for a couples getaway. We had some issues with the hot water system while we were there but the staff were very polite and did their best to try and help us. The birds of prey tour was absolutely amazing, we can highly recommend. We also booked the I'm cabin couples massage which was good but quite expensive.

We stayed for a weekend in a beautiful lodge with a hot tub. Plenty of places to walk the dog, activities for everyone and even a quiz. Had a lovely weekend, the quiz was only £5 and that included a pizza and it was really fun. We also did the archery which was fun but the instructor was a little bit rude and felt rushed in some aspects and it felt more like a school lesson where you can not talk. Although the lodge was beautiful the parking was difficult with one of us having to park on the reception carpark. We had a parking space on a vertical bank with a tree in the middle of it, we tried not to leave too much as it was difficult to get back parked.

We are regular visitors so another Peaceful getaway, fully equipped home away from home. I gave 4 stars as it would be great if there was a washing machine at hand.( maybe in the cleaning cupboard).

This is the third time we have been here and it was as wonderful as ever. The cabin was gorgeous and the hot 🔥 tub is a lovely place to dive into day or night 👍 There is a reception lodge which has a shop that sells local produce and also food and drinks . You can order food to be delivered to your cabin if you prefer and there are movie packages and WiFi in your cabin 👍 if you like a woodland break and get away from it all then this is for you 😀

So peaceful all around 🌲🌲🌲🌲 with over 20 meter long pines everywhere you look full of fresh air for the whole family.
Our experience at Sherwood Forest was spotlessly perfect the kids didn’t want to come home plenty of space for the kids to run round and get involved with nature our puppy Bobby loved it too plenty of space for his exercise and to socialise with the other dogs staying there for their holiday was so good we didn’t have to worry about him being board either so that was a pice of mind.
One thing we enjoyed the most as a family was the night walks in the forest with the torches the kids absolutely loved it.

Going back again in few months to celebrate our daughters birthday and everyone is so excited already to go back.
Can’t wait.

Little issue on arrival with the water but nothing we couldnt overcome issue was dealt with promptly. from the moment we arrived we were impressed ,the staff were amazing cabin was out of this world the facilities in the forest were fantastic lots of things to do never a dull moment. We will definitely be returning.. thank you for the whole experience we thoroughly enjoyed it.
