Just as You are Tea Cottage

Perfect small cute place to rest when hot or wet weather, delicious ice-cream, smoothes - was tried, and lots more. Aircon, sofa, some places outdoor, close to the bank chanell....

I was lucky enough to be there first ever customer & I simply love this place, Miriam & her staff are so friendly, they always have a smile for you. Cant wait for it to reopen again, once the lockdown ends & Covid19 has been beaten.

OK is all, the lady owner ( we think she was) was lovely, not so much her assistant though, miserable, stares at you when you ask for anything, and does not listen, we ate in, which was nice, but then we asked for two coffess and two scones to take away, we got two coffees and one scone to eat in, so we did eat in again, we did not bother trying to explain to her as she looks permanently angry, and we don't think she really wanted to be there. If you do visit, be sure to be served by the blonde lady. Other than the assistant, this is a nice little place to visit.

This is a great place for a coffee and a snack especially if you are walking along the front. Service is good and the food home made. My only little gripe would be that I wish it was open a bit earlier than 10.30am.
