£2.95 For a bog standard cheese and onion toastie ,£3.95 if you want it with salad!!!!! Bit grubby inside, but tea was OK and location is lovely, but don't bother if you want something to eat other places do it so much better for the same price.

The three stars are awarded for the politeness of our waitress, the location and one of the dishes (all day breakfast was good but the toastie was disappointing). Unfortunately we were initially told we had a 20 minute wait but this became 1hr 15min! The waitress was very calm and polite when reminded but the issue seemed to be in the kitchen. I suggested some compensation/reduction and we got a mug of tea OR a piece of cake. Nevertheless, great location, good value and clean throughout but avoid holidays and sunny days!

Situated in a lovely spot beside the canal with good food and friendly staff, many patrons visit regularly. We always call in when walking the canal towpath from New Whittington. Highly recommended

Great place to visit at the side of the canal. Excellent service and well presented food. Even better if its a nice day to sit outside. Very reasonable prices. Free parking. I would definitely recommend.

Great stop off at Hollingwood Hub. Excellent and friendly service. Food well presented and good quality at very reasonable prices. Seating inside and out. Open from 9.30am until 4pm. Toilet and free parking facilities. Great location by the side of the canal. Well worth going out of your way to visit.

Small coffee shop doing decent coffees from a machine. Teas and cold drinks also available. Also does a selection of cakes, scones (they've been good both times I've had them!) and butties. Limited seating inside, but more outside, where it's nice to sit out beside the canal on a nice day.

Great little cafe. Popped in during a bike ride Had a nice latte and toasted teacake. A couple of tables inside and plenty of seating outside which I opted for even though it was cold for the lovely view of the canal.

Fantastic scones fresh out of the oven. Just what we needed after a 14 mile walk along the Trans pennine and Chesterfield canal.
