Stopped off for a bite to eat, cheap and cheerful good sized portions and tasty too.
My couple of negative points were that they did not seem to have quite a few menu items (we went in at 12.15 on a week day) it wasn't super busy so it was disappointing to be told that they could not do the first three menu dishes selected.
The staff seemed to be quite slow & were not able to answer the simple question "where is the milk for the tea" first staff member pointed in a vague direction, second one directed me to a cold drinking milk cooler that had a bottle of milk inside it, I asked a third staff member what I could put the milk in & got blank looks, after settling on an extra cup and sitting down I spotted where the milk potions for the tea actually were, but the three people I asked all seemed unaware of the answer to this simple question.
So plus points for the quality of the food, minus one for the staff & stock.

Fantastic, the best cooked breakfast I've had in years. The canteen staff were lovely. I wish i could give this place 10 stars xx

Food quality was average - it's like they used value products for their meals. Portions just acceptable and overall price did not reflect fairly what you got.

Not had a morrisons breakfast for quite a while. Very disappointed. Very small portions. Prices don't reflect the measly portions. Wish I had gone to the tall chimney. Sausages are horrible and eggs are always over done. No runny yolk. Daylight robbery for 6.99. Certainly won't be returning and would not recommend.

Tasteless food, Items missing from the order, dirty cutlery and terrible customer service.

Worst service ever. Ignorant workers, 4 times walked by as we stood at till. Not a word from them, even when the woman came and took a menu from the till to show a girl , she still never said , ill be with you in a minute. Finally a bloke with glasses served us, no apology for the wait, nothing. Went to order food and was told 30 minute wait. The place was not surprisingly empty. When we said we would just just have a drink he slammed the change down on the counter even though my wife was holding her hand out. Didn't say thank you or anything.
If this is the best the cafe can do then it needs closing down.
Won't visit again and will now shop at Sainsbury's.
I suggest you invest in a proper manager and train the staff properly or sack them.
Also the place was filthy.

I wanted prawn sandwiches for lunch but they didn't have any so I ordered 2 fried eggs on toast. What a mistake. The eggs were swimming in grease and it was sunflower spread not butter. It tasted awful and I ended up leaving it. This cafe has seriously gone downhill since COVID. I will not eat here again.

Unfortunately I can't leave a 5 star review...before covid morrisons used to do a good size veggie breakfast for a fair price. However over the last 2 years we have visited a few different morrisons cafés including this one. The food has sadly gone downhill...fast. the portions are small & now overpriced. The food doesn't even taste nice anymore, also this is the 3rd time we've been to a morrisons café to have a food and found some of the cafe staff shouting at each other. Not ideal or professional. Perhaps the staff are under pressure and haven't the support?
Needless to say we won't be returning to any of the morrisons now.
