The Old Library Waterfoot

I really love this place. It's not very big but it's kind staff, choice of food, ambience, cleanliness makes it a hugely delightful place to go! Be sure to book a table as lunchtime gets very busy. High chairs available and there are paintings, some jewellery and other locally made crafts to buy (cash only). Reasonable parking and a small children's play area nearby. There's only one wc which is a slight drawback but highly recommended. Ray could DEFINITELY be a Yorkshireman!!!😀

Centre of Waterfoot, Old library Café. Good substantial grub & fully licensed. A bright and happy environment with high chairs for babies 👶 well wirth a visit.

A lovely community cafe, lovely room and friendly staff. I've had lunch, coffee and cake here at different times and all were good.
It's run by a social enterprise type organisation, with a mixture of paid staff and volunteers, which is great. It hosts knitting groups etc and has a second child-friendly room with games and books. If you've not been before, I'd highly recommend you give it a try!

Absolute top notch fry up, I think one of the best I've ever had, all ingredients bang on, you can taste the quality and freshness. Came out fast can't fault it.

My mate had a ham and cheese omelette and he said it was one of the best he's ever had.

Highly recommended.

Simple menu - BUT - well prepared & served with a friendly smile

First visit here, we had been for a walk on the footpath from Rawtenstall to Waterfoot and noticed this cafe in the old library. Pleasantly surprised excellent customer service, staff really easy to talk to and excellent food. We will return

Seemed nice when we walked in, lovely and clean. Was spoilt by being served very over done toasted teacake and after paying and then outside the building, was told by a waitress we had not paid, how embarrassing when people were sat outside. Get your facts right and check with your staff before accusing new customers of not paying. Won't be returning which is a shame as the menu seemed really good, and meals looked really nice.

I visited on a cold and frosty morning with snow falling, I think this kept the numbers down the food was soon delivered and went down well
